Scottish Cretan Stitch

Scottish Cretan Stitch

Scottish Cretan stitch is a variation of the Cretan Stitch for decorative borders. The groups of Cretan Stitches are laced with a working tread to create an intriguing pattern. This stitch is rather versatile – you can adjust the density of the stitches – to make them more closed or opened. Also, you can adjust the length of the sections of the stitches or the number of the stitches you group for lacing.
