Les points de bordure de broderie à la main sont travaillés le long du périmètre du tissu. Ces points ont deux objectifs. Tout d’abord, les points de bordure définissent le bord du textile, le sécurisent et empêchent le tissu de s’effilocher. En même temps, ces points embellissent l’ourlet, ajoutant un intérêt visuel et améliorant l’aspect général du vêtement ou du textile d’intérieur.
