Der Leiterstich ist eine Handnähtechnik. Wir verwenden ihn, um unsichtbare Nähte zu erstellen, wenn wir keinen Zugang zur Rückseite der Naht haben, zum Beispiel beim Nähen von Futter, Kissen oder Stofftieren.

Die Nähtechnik ist einfach: Führe abwechselnd kleine horizontale Stiche zwischen den beiden gefalteten Stofflaschen aus und führe sie dann zusammen, um die Seiten zu verbinden und eine unsichtbare Naht zu erzeugen.

Zur Veranschaulichung habe ich einen hellrosa Faden auf einem weißen Leinen verwendet. In der Tat ist es wichtig, ein passendes Garn zu verwenden und die Stiche klein und regelmäßig zu machen, damit die Naht wirklich unsichtbar ist.

Wenn du die Naht von innen sehen könntest, würde sie wie ein Fluchtpunkt aussehen.

Wegen des nahtlosen Ergebnisses ist diese Handnähtechnik auch als Leiterstich und/oder Blindstich bekannt.

## Skalenpunkt-Anwendungen

Der Leiterstich ist beim Handnähen, Schneidern und Stopfen unerlässlich. Auch wenn du eine Nähmaschine verwendest, um Kleidungsstücke oder Heimtextilien zusammenzusetzen, entstehen manchmal kleine Lücken in den Nähten, die beim Wenden des Stücks offen bleiben. Der Leiterstich wurde entwickelt, um diese Probleme zu lösen. Er schließt die Lücken mit einer starken, aber unsichtbaren Naht.

Außerdem eignet sich diese Technik hervorragend für kleine Flicken und Reparaturen, vor allem um Lücken in Nähten zu füllen, die durch Alter und Abnutzung entstehen. Diese Methode ist oft schneller und günstiger als die Verwendung einer Nähmaschine.

## Wie man den Leiterstich näht

Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitungen zum Nähen mit der Hand

1\. Fädle die Nadel ein und mache einen Knoten am Ende. 2. markiere die Nahtlinien oder bügle die Naht, damit du eine Falte als Referenz verwenden kannst.

2\. Verstecke den Knoten in der Naht und schiebe die Nadel am Anfang des Schlitzes, entlang der Nahtlinie, zur Oberfläche.

4\. Gehe nun auf dieselbe Seite zurück, auf der du begonnen hast, und mache einen weiteren kleinen Geradstich entlang der Naht.

5\. Mache abwechselnd kleine Stiche zwischen den Seiten des Stoffes.

6\. Wenn du einen gleichfarbigen Faden verwendest, wird der Leiterstich fast unsichtbar, wenn du am Faden ziehst, um die Naht festzuziehen.
