Interlaced Chain Stitch
Interlaced Chain Stitch is a composite stitch from the Chain Stitch family. To make this embroidery stitch, we work a simple Chain Stitch and then lace it from both sides to form a highly decorative band.
Applications of the Interlaced Chain Stitch
Interlaced Chain Stitch is a beautiful technique for decorative borders, embellishing garments, decorated lettering, or monogramming. It also looks great as a decorative outline stitch. This technique looks great on straight lines and curves, too.
The method of lacing the stitch two times allows us to use more than one color for this technique, which makes it colorful and versatile.
